So the homecoming dance was tonight. This was my first high school dance in the history of my exsitance. I spent hours on hair, make-up, and nails. I aactually flet pretty good about how I looked until I walked up to the gym door, and everybody looked like models. I flet like crap, I guess it was a feeling I was maybe to flimiar with.Everybody always says how fun the high school dances are, but Granada was just like any other school. A ton of people trying to start a fire. It was pretty gross, any who the two girls I pretty much danced with the whole night found guys while I was the loner. This
was not the way I wanted my night to go. No slow song dances, 25% of the dance was being outside talking to friends and the rest of the night was trying to dance in a hot gym with way too many people in it. Call me crazy but it was kin of fun, who needs a date anyways? Well almost everybody there had a date it was like couple centeral tonight. To make things better the guy I like asked a girl from LHS and she was sooo pretty. Did I die a little bit inside,,,,OF COURSE. But you can't always get what you want. But what nobody ask is what about the people who get everything they ever wanted, everthying just gets handed down to them, their wish is someones command.
I love u kelsey Ill kick everyones butt!!! Don't trip girly highschool is hard at first but definitely gets better as time goes by. I didn't focus on boys in high school I focused on sports activities and getting good grades. But I want u to know if u every need to talk u have my number and by the way we need another sf adventure!! Sf is missing us right now. Well I love u and I miss u and just keep ur head up girl. Boys come and go. Just make sure ur happiness comes first!
ReplyDeleteI never liked the whole high school dance culture, because I believe it is focused too much on the "who's got a date, who is going with whom, and how does everybody look". I am proud of you for understanding that so quickly! You are a wonderful young woman with a sharp mind to see what others don't realize their whole life. Fortunately, life is not equal to high school. It's uniqueness that counts, not going with the flow. I know it's hard to feel left out. But see it this way: You are not a copy - you are the original. As for the guy: He is blind! And not worth your attention :D
